Murfreesboro Rescue Mission’s 3rd Annual Banquet & Silent Auction

The Murfreesboro Rescue Mission hosted its 3rd Annual Banquet and Silent Auction at The View at Fountains and was a heartwarming success. The event brought supporters together for an evening of inspiration, fellowship, and generosity. As Ed Grimes, Founder and Executive Director, so eloquently put it, "We must find it in our hearts to not see the homeless as a burden but see them as an opportunity."

This event not only inspired hope but also made a tangible difference in the lives of those they serve. One remarkable example of the Mission's impact is a story of a woman who relocated to Tennessee for a job opportunity, only to be scammed out of her life savings. She found herself in dire need of temporary housing until she could secure permanent residence. Thanks to the Mission's swift response, she was able to function on her new job, and transition from staying in a bus terminal to permanent housing in under three months. This success story showcases the Mission's dedication to providing vital support and services to those in need.
