Goodwin Plumbing donates $2500 to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Madilynn Paige Goodwin is a vibrant, fun-loving, and active nine-year-old. She is involved in cheerleading, tumbling, gymnastics, basketball, and has even tried her hand at parenting her two-year-old sister, Madison Jane.

Madilynn was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as a newborn. Cystic Fibrosis is a complex disease that primarily affects the lungs and pancreas. However, with daily breathing treatments, medication before each meal, and newer medicines that stop the progression of the disease makes living with Cystic Fibrosis manageable day-to-day. That being said, the Goodwins do not live in a bubble.

When Madilynn was diagnosed, her father John remembers saying in the doctor's office, "My daughter will not be defined by CF." While the Goodwins are aware of the seriousness of the disease, they continue to live a very active and involved lifestyle. We are passionate about raising money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis to find a cure for Madilynn and everyone living with the disease. Recently, Goodwin Plumbing was proud to donate $2500 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and encourage everyone to #BebraveforMadilynn.
